6-12 Month Contract Position This Design Development team is in need of a Motion Graphics Expert who is passionate about design, software innovation and consumer entertainment products. They will work closely with Design and Engineering teams to help ship exciting and emotionally engaging software experiences. Primary responsibility will be interpreting design specifications and motion comps to deliver pixel-perfect design and animation. We are looking for a spirited and motivated collaborator with experience interpreting designs into fully functional interactive experiences. The ideal candidate will have a deep background in motion graphics, experience working in and with new technologies, and can quickly and smoothly learn to use new tools. They will "get" Designers and have a clear understanding of the design process - information architecture + interaction design, usability, visual design, brand integration, content creation and motion graphics - and demonstrate an ability to merge this with established development processes. They will excel in the implementation, production and shipment of highly-polished user interfaces. Requirements: Required Skills for this Media Author position includes the following: 5+ years experience in UI development (desktop, web, devices), with an emphasis on User Experience and Usability. Experience working with new technologies, alpha and beta level software still in development. Knowledge of Flash, ActionScript, Silverlight, or related design/motion graphics tools. Experience with XUI, XAML, XHTML/XML, CSS, JavaScript, and DHTML/AJAX. Excellent problem solving skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Portfolio review required.
