Here's a little bit about this blog in the author's own words:

"Welcome to my little piece of paradise. I provide the content for this blog, and people call me Jeff, so I'm glad we're now formally introduced. This blog serves to inform the masses, but also acts as my personal online portfolio to get a job writing somewhere. Relatively simple.

Being a gaming journalist is difficult; not only doing the job itself, but first establishing a presence. And that was my goal when I first started A Video Games Blog. I wanted to gain an audience, a reputation, and eventually a job writing. But as my interest for the medium grew, my intentions became clear: I just love to blog. An opinionated platform giving any person the chance to make a name for themselves. This blog is almost sentimental (sounds cheesy).

And since I do love blogging and gaming so much, I wish to continue doing it for you all to enjoy. Though, preferably, I'd like to get paid for it. Call me anxious, a dreamer, stupid; I don't care!"
